Gain baby Gain!

Wanted to do an update on Hailee's last Doctors visit she had (which is where she got croup from). We went in for a weight check this last Thursday and the final weight is!!!!! 17.15 lbs.....boooooo!!! Seriously!? I couldn't believe it. I swear I had been shoving food down this kids throat for weeks! And she has been sucking down the carnation instant breakfast drink like no tomorrow! How on earth could she not weigh more! So needless to say the Doctor was not very happy. He came in with a grim face and we chatted a bit. Her blood test from a little while ago came back pretty normal but they did how that she is allergic to Dairy, Egg, and Beef. We are pretty sure that its the protein in the milk that is causing the problem. Her body can not digest and break down the protein and so any other food in her wont be beneficial to her either. SO! She can't even have Goats milk because it has the same protein! Blah! And the lactose milk she was drinking....yeah no more of the either. So she is back on Soy. Which, thankfully she is sucking down!

He wanted to rule out everything so we ended up doing a urine test. Which did end up coming back normal. So that is what is going on with Miss Hailee Belle. She is still eating like crazy. We are trying to feed her more and more pasta which she loves! Especially those bow ties. So she is still on the mend from her little Croup fiasco and we will hopefully get some meat on those tiny, adorable bones!

As for her developmentally doc says she is doing phenomenal! yay! At least she excells in that area! haha. I have to hold onto something! She is constantly talking non stop. She is putting some word together too which is way adorable. Here is some of her every day vocab

"Daddy Go? Daddy go bye?"

"Mommy! Uck! (stuck) elmme! (help me)" - this is when she is stuck in or on something

"Ungy (hungry) Eat."

on the phone "Hewowoa?......Hi!"

And if I ask her if she is ready for bed she panicks and starts running to the front room saying "Hungry! Show! Drink! Please!" Anything to keep her from going to bed.
